Blancpain launches a new GMT watch within its Villeret Collection
The Villeret Collection has been part of Blancpain’s designs for almost 40 years. Its new addition is called the Villeret GMT Date.
Blancpain is a Swiss company, founded in 1735 in Villeret. Since then, it has been recognized as one of the most luxurious watchmaking companies in the world. Blancpain is also known for its Villeret collection, made of refined timepieces. Let us introduce you to its newest addition : the Villeret GMT Date Watch.
This watch is very elegant and luxurious. It displays two different time zones on its dial, with a 24-hour scale, as well as the date. At the middle of the dial, you will find the JB initials, in homage to Jehan-Jacques Blancpain, who founded the company two centuries ago.
The 40mm case of this watch is available in 18 karat gold, or steel variations if you prefer, all on an opaline dial. The back of the case is gorgeous, partly transparent with its sapphire crystal glass, so you can see the details of the mechanism of the watch. As well, it is ornated by the Blancpain logo and JB initials. The mechanism of this watch is powered by a 5A50 self-winding movement, created and manufactured by Blancpain. The Villeret GMT Date Watch provides a power reserve of 100 hours, and is water-resistant up to 30 meters.
Another interesting and detailed part of this watch is its bracelet. It comes in four different looks; Either the mille maille metal bracelet in two colors, or the alligator leather strap in two colors as well. All of these options are available so you can get the watch of your dreams!
